Paper Pumpkin - Halloween or not?

This month's Paper Pumpkin has a Halloween theme. There are enough supplies for 20 little treat boxes - all set for trick-or-treaters, classmates, grandkids or just for fun! In my world I have few goblins coming to the door & grown up kids & g'kids so I was happy to use the extra supplies for fun cards. Even though the g'kids are teens they seem to enjoy Nana's card making obsession - er, hobby. My daughter on the other hand is a teacher so she was thrilled to make up the boxes for her class.

There were tons of supplies & as usual the instructions come with a list of the coordinating colours so with a few sheets of Gorgeous Grape & Pumpkin Pie cadstock, some twine & stamps from previous kits, we went to town creating some fun cards.

Some black on black embossing created a spooky background along with the skull stamp stamped on purple cardstock from my stash.

We even came up with a non-Halloween card for those who don't mark this spooky occasion. The cat punch was used for our wee feline who is holding a bouquet of balloons cut from the balloon punch. Some Grapefruit Grove foil from my retired stash (you could use copper too) adds the "happy" touch.

Here's one last card CASE'd from Melissa Davies on the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club Facebook page. I loved her multi-coloured skeletons. They were perfect for my youngest brother's birthday card.

The monthly Paper Pumpkin kit is such fun! It provides materials & inspiration for fun projects delivered right to you door. Subscribe through my store & receive membership into the P.P. Peeps. We gather monthly to assemble our kits, create alternative projects & laugh - a lot! If you are not local, you'll be sent instructions & inspiration for all the alternative projects. Check it out under the Shop Now tab - Paper Pumpkin. The October & November kits coordinate beautifully & provide loads of materials to create your own Christmas cards & tags.

Sign up before October 10th to get your start on all the fun!
