Batter up!

Even though we are in the midst of hockey play-offs here in Ontario, I must say I enjoyed playing with the baseball themed May Paper Pumpkin kit. It was great fun to create cards for the baseball fans in my life, boys & girls, moms or dads.

The kit came with card bases to create nine cards but by adding some white & coloured cardstock & cutting the card bases in half, we went to town creating some fun alternatives.

This first card is based on a design by Leena Girsa, a fellow Canadian demonstrator. The baseball card front mimics a vintage baseball trading card then opens up to showcase a fun fold full of baseball images What fun!

The stamp set includes a cute cap that was stamped, then fussy-cut to decorate the pin-striped mat.

Next up - a card for the Boy-Moms in the family. They're both baseball players/fans so the Polished Pink was perfect for these sporty gals.

The die-cuts in the kit are perfect for a scrapbook page so with some pics on hand of one of my all-star g'sons.

Here are a couple more alternatives for inspiration.

Here's one last card, turning the sunburst red & white card base into a celebration for Canada Day!
